We talked in class about how Mrs. Dalloway incorporates multiplicity into the story by switching perspectives from one character to another. Upon viewing The Hours, I couldn't help but feel that it was also trying to accomplish the multiplicity feel. Although it doesn't necessarily focus from character to character on the same scene, it does reveal character thoughts on the greater scale. It breaks up the plot and reforms it at the end which seems to show that multiplicity is somewhat chaotic but organized. It reveals itself over time, just as it did in the video.
Perhaps my favorite part of The Hours is when the video connects the separate plot lines together. It makes the video so much more complex and enjoyable. Experiencing that epiphany was truly enjoyable and awesome.
